## Overview

[Zapier](https://zapier.com) is the most widely used no-code automation platform, connecting thousands of apps through simple "Zap" workflows. Its editor makes it quick to set up automations without writing any code.

The Altoviz app for Zapier provides **81 modules** — the most complete of all Altoviz automation connectors — covering triggers, actions, and searches across all major Altoviz entities.

## Getting started

1. Go to the [Altoviz integration page on Zapier](https://zapier.com/apps/altoviz/integrations) and click **Create Zap**.
2. Search for **Altoviz** and select a trigger or action.
3. When prompted, connect your Altoviz account using your API key.

You can generate an API key from your Altoviz account settings. See [Authentication](/docs/guides/authentication) for details.

## Triggers

Triggers start a Zap automatically when something changes in Altoviz.

Search steps let you find existing Altoviz records to use in your Zaps. Most searches also support a **Find or Create** option to automatically create the record if it doesn't exist yet.
